Respite

Caregiving is a demanding job and no one is equipped to do it alone. Respite care provides short-term breaks that can relieve stress, restore energy and promote balance in life. It provides a break from caregiving, while the person with dementia or Alzheimer’s continues to receive care in a safe environment.

Three types of respite grants are available – in-home care, adult day care, and in-facility overnight care.
